POLYTETRAFLUORETHYLENE PTFE:
QUALITIES:
-
Thermal resistance
Thermal PTFE resins resist temperatures between -65ºC and 260ºC.
-
Anti-adherence
Nothing adheres to the surface, unless a special treatment is given.
-
Mechanization
Its low hardness, 5 - 70 Shore, allows easy mechanization.
-
Thermal insulator
It has exceptional insulating characteristics specially as a dielectric
material, which stay constant within a very wide range of frequencies.
-
Practically absolute chemical resistance
PTFE WITH SPECIAL-PURPOSE CHARGES:
-
Fiber of glass (25%) Carbon (25%)
- Carbon (25%) + Graphite (2%)
- Graphite (10%)
- Bronze (60%)
- Stainless steel (50%)
- Ceramics (15%)
SANDWICH TYPE GASKET:
The sandwich type gasket, covered with PTFE, combines the chemical resistance
of PTFE with the mechanical resistance and the elasticity of the material
inserted:
- Cardboard, graphite or rubber.
VITON OR SILICONE TORIC GASKET ENCAPSULATED IN F.E.P. :
Gasket with chemical resistance specially indicated for the food industry.
PTFE GASKET WITH PERFORATED STEEL CORE
Gasket with a 100% chemical resistance, zero contamination and without
restrictions for use in the food industry.
